When we first started working for HAPSA (Hotline Auto Parts SA) they were still operating under the banner of Hotline40.
They had a website but it was not working and they had no idea of what to do or even how to get started. We were referred to them by another client Athol Park Ford Wreckers and the process of discovery was started. Like a lot of smaller businesses or organisations, they had gotten their first website up by being helped out by someone (not a professional) with “some” knowledge, but when things went wrong….well they couldn’t get a result.
We discovered that not only had their original site been really badly infected with a host of nasties, their domain name was blacklisted all over the internet. So even if the site was working, most search engines wont list it and browsers, antivirus can even stop you from even trying to load the page. Not ideal!
The desicion was made to look at getting a new site. After finding out exactly what they needed for their network of members, we presented the demo site and the love was instant!
As a part of the process we cleared all the blacklists and so on, so the domain could now be freely accessed. The new site was up and running and all of the members received instructional guides and videos on how to add stock, update thier details and remove stock. We get the occasional call for support from the odd member, but the system is so easy to use it rarely happens. Well the part requests keep coming in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and from all over the world. Each member starts the day by receiving a copy of all parts requests recieved and all of the “Buy my car” submissions sent from the public.
And then…
The Hotline40 association had a reshuffle of members and organisational name. No problem, we re-branded the site, and updated all of the members and they were straight back up and running with no interruption whatsoever.
We can do this for your business, organisation or club. Don’t be fooled into thinking that just by having the old Facebook page, the world will find you or its enough! It doesn’t cost as much as many other ways you can promote your business and this method…well it never sleeps!
